After George Childress moved to Texas he became interested in studying the law. In two years he was a successful lawyer. Then George Childress got offered to write the Texas Declaration of Independence, so he took the opportunity.
Finally, George Childress got involved with the war. In the war, he met many people who sacrificed their lives. In the war, he participated in many missions and liked to participate in the missions.
In 1841, at age 37 George Childress committed suicide by slicing his abdomen with a Bowie knife. George Childress committed suicide because he did not get a mission assigned to him.
